m-Indicator is an award-winning public transport app in India. It provides offline timetables for Indian Railways and Maharashtra State Transport buses, including Shivneri and ordinary buses. Additionally, it offers local public transport information for cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi (coming soon).

For Mumbai, the app includes information on various train lines, such as Central, Western, Harbour, Virar-Dahanu Shuttle, Diva-Roha, Neral-Matheran, Mono, and Metro. It also provides train platform numbers at Borivali, Virar, and Kalyan, as well as indications for less crowded trains during peak hours. The app features a train chat function for exchanging information on train delays, cancellations, and platform changes. Users can also find connected routes and plan their journeys through the A to B feature. Other features include a rail map, nearby places in Mumbai, fare information for first and second class tickets, and bus routes for BEST, NMMT, TMT, KDMT, MBMT, VVMT, KMT, and PUNE (PMPML). Users can search for buses by number or get information on bus timings and arrivals at specific stops. The app also allows users to search for buses between a source and destination.

For Pune, m-Indicator provides information on PMPML bus routes, Pune-Lonavala local trains, natak (drama) listings, and job listings.

In addition to public transport information, the app offers offline Indian Railways timetables with features like PNR status checking, seat availability up to 120 days in advance, station alarms, hotel search, packing checklists, railway complaints, coach position and layout information, and running status of trains.

The app also includes auto and taxi fare information as well as classifieds for jobs and properties in Mumbai. Users can stay updated on Marathi, Gujarati, and Hindi natak schedules and get travel news and alerts. Information on railway megablocks on Sundays is also provided.

For emergencies, the app includes contact information for casualty hospitals, medical financial help, ambulances, blood banks, railway services, air lines, fire brigade, electricity issues, cranes services, roadway and tourist inquiries, and important medical messages.

Users can also find a list of picnic spots in various categories like beaches, hill stations, waterfalls, caves, forts, farmhouses, resorts, and lakes. The app provides distance information and details about each spot. Additionally, users can access an updated list of budget hotels approved by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).

The app also includes a unique woman safety feature that does not require GPS or internet. It sends automatic alert SMS messages for added security.

Lastly, the app provides information on Mumbai Police station jurisdiction identifiers.
